This agreement helps ensure trust and professionalism throughout the experience.

1. What’s Confidential?

You may see or create information that’s not public—like internal processes, data, reports, or ideas. If it’s marked confidential or seems private, treat it that way.

2. Your Responsibilities

Keep confidential info private—don’t share it outside your team.

Use it only for your company project work.

Don’t copy or share it unless necessary for the project.

Let us know immediately if something gets shared by mistake.

3. Who Owns the Work?

Anything you create for the project belongs to the organization that presented the project. You’re helping make a difference, and your contributions are valued!

4. Talking About Your Experience

You can talk about your project and your solutions in general terms with future employers - just don’t share any confidential details.

5. Special Note on Student Records (FERPA)

If you see any student records, treat them with extra care and let us know immediately. Only use them if you’re authorized and never share them. Misuse could lead to serious consequences.
