About the role

The Student Activities Board (SAB) of Ave Maria University is a student-run programming organization that exists to cultivate the University's vibrant campus culture through the planning and hosting of campus-wide social events throughout the year.

The Student Activities Board is hiring for multiple team roles for the 2026-2027 academic year. All student applicants must be in good academic, social, and moral standing and are required to meet and maintain a 3.0 GPA minimum.

Duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Attend weekly meetings
  • Responsible for conducting and judging student pitches for event ideas.
  • Responsible for checking in with students who lead events (There will be events that are fully SAB planning and running, while others will be primarily run by students with the assistance of SAB team members).
  • In charge of delegating tasks to event day team
  • Must be available to handle last minute tasks for each events (i.e need to be reliable when texts are sent out, responding within 24 hours)
  • Complete tasks assigned in a timely manner
