Saverio Perugini is the Director of the Computer Science Program at Ave Maria University. He has over 20 years of experience in higher education. Perugini has published over 40 refereed papers in scholarly journals and conferences and secured nearly $300,000 in NSF research funding, demonstrating his commitment to advancing knowledge in computer science. In 2023, he published a book on programming languages titled Programming Languages: Concepts and Implementation with Jones & Bartlett Learning. Perugini received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Virginia Tech in 2004.
