Samuel Shephard is from the Isle of Skye in the Scottish Highlands, and has a lifelong passion for wild places. His research focuses on environmental stewardship, with applications in sustainable fishing and hunting, and other outdoor practices that connect people to nature. Dr. Shephard oversees the AMU farm and garden, blending the theory and practice of sustainability in a commitment to caring for the Earth, our common home.
