Ron Freeze is a successful business leader in the medical industry spanning biologics, pharmaceuticals, devices, and diagnostics. In addition to his current role in Ave Maria’s chemistry department, Ron also serves as the President/Chief Development Officer for Ave Maria Biotechnology, developing technologies to fight against the next pandemic. Ron’s greatest enjoyment in industry was seeing products he worked on enter the marketplace to help patients. Most recently, Ron has worked on pairing AI with devices to reduce errors and further expand detection and identification of pathogens. Ron holds a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from Iowa State University.

I am honored to join the Institute where I will have a chance to engage and learn from future leaders while I try to share insights I have learned throughout my journey as a Catholic father and business leader.
