Eugene Cassidy is the CEO of the Eastern States Exposition, joining as Director of Finance in 1993 and named CEO in 2011. He holds a degree in Business Administration & Accounting from Western New England College and began his career at KPMG before serving as Treasurer & COO of Chicopee Cooperative Bank. Cassidy actively supports his community through roles like Chairman of the Greater Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau, Treasurer of MassHire, and as a longtime Advisory Board member of St. Thomas the Apostle School. Cassidy is a Knight Commander of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem and an advocate for faith and education. He resides in Longmeadow, MA, with his wife Catherine, and their sons, Brennan, a dentist, and Colin, a CPA, both graduates of Providence College.
